Dr. Grant P. Beckham, M.D.
Dr. Beckham is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing as a primary care physician for over twenty years. The formation of Park Lane Medical Group in 2007 marked the first time he opened his own solo private practice.
Dr. Beckham holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Stanford University, and an M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center. He is an alumnus of St. Mark’s School of Texas, where he graduated as valedictorian.
Dr. Beckham’s clinical experience includes years of extensive work in traditional Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and Geriatrics.
He has co-authored an article about exfoliative dermatitis that was published in a 1999 issue of American Family Physician. Additionally, he is fluent in Spanish, and uses it regularly in his practice. His bilingual ability and broad clinical training have proven to be valuable assets during the many medical mission trips on which he has served in Mexico, Honduras, Venezuela, and Peru.
At Park Lane Medical Group, Dr. Beckham sees patients of age fourteen years and older. His goal is to offer the best of primary health care, wellness, and preventive medicine. His practice offers regular office visits, second opinions, annual physicals, lab work, x-rays, and EKGs. In addition, Dr. Beckham’s practice has the on-site availability of MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, mammograms, and bone density studies within his office building. He is an active member of the medical staffs of Baylor University Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
Dr. Beckham has lived in Dallas for over forty years. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and with his large Dallas family (thirteen nephews and nieces!). In addition, Dr. Beckham is active in his church, plays guitar, and writes and records music.
